By aerial I had a lot of fun, and was occasionally astounded by how listeners would interact with the voice from the radio. An easy read you can get a chuckle by picking a random chapter, or find yourself entertained from the first page to the last. The author has worked in markets all across America for decades, so he isn't kidding when he says " this book could be about you!". To know this isn't fiction is kind of scary, when you read what some of the listeners had to say! But you won't be disappointed that the author has shared these stories.

By Bud Connell A bona fide inside view of what it was like to be a DJ in the Golden Era of Top 40 and Rock Radio. Some might think a few stories are over-the-top, but they happened again and again to different DJs. The DJs may have changed, but the listeners written about remained the same. Dave collected the most outlandish and the funniest, and he may have a couple more volumes to come. Radio was anything but dull until the machines took over. Enjoy.

King There are plenty of laugh-out-loud anecdotes and some serious ones--plus a surprisingly insightful and candid look inside radio stations from the fifties until today. the fascinating, but not always glamorous, experiences of DJs, including those of the Country Music Hall of Fame author,kept me turning pages until the end. I can just imagine the sequal this book will inspire.
