This book introduces you to Simon Williams, the manager of a supermarket.With Simon in Charge, Alan Brindley has created a thoughtful story with a hint of humour. The story comprises only a few characters, Simon being described with sufficient depth. The other characters do not require the same depth as they easily support the story the way they are. I had a good time reading Simon in Charge - it is an enjoyable read, being thought-provoking and humorous at the same time. I was drawn into the story, the invisible spy close by. The story has a good flow and some nice turns.This is for you if you like short stories, like a touch of psychology and a hint of humour.The second book in a series - I will have to get hold of the first instalment as soon as possible!Recommended.
