In book one of this series we meet Dylan, a renegade dragon and his mate Marie!Dylan Masters has lost all faith in the Dragon Council and their mandates about who, what and how dragons live. He has suffered at the hands of the council and their edicts about helping humans with dragon scales. Dylan had always followed their rules until it cost him something precious, his wife. Now he is on the trail of the Iron Claw MC to become a member and to help those that are in need. While battling a group of dragons sent by the council, he meets a woman that turns his life upside down and inside out, Marie.Marie is a friend of the Iron Claws and is under their protection. I got caught up in the plot immediately, wanting to know more, and the way things were described was incredible! There's this bar scene near the beginning, and there are all sorts of creatures there: a pixie, tiger shifter, troll, witch, vampires, leprechauns, and of course our dragon shifter, and all of them are described in such great detail, I felt like I walked into the place and ordered a fizzly sparkly drink myself. Okay, cut to a scene at a flea market. All these gorgeous hunks of biker dragon shifters, running their own little stand between the flower booth and homemade soap stands, selling their special recipe puff brownies. Yes, brownies laced with drugs. That's right. No, they're not legal, but they're not what you may be thinking, either ;)Dylan is our hot dragon shifter, and he is beautiful, both as a dragon and as a man. Our heroine is Marie, a nurse who is wanted by the mob. She on the run and gets protection from the shifter pack, helps them with their injuries, while also assisting as a liaison in sending them people who need their wares. It is totally lust at first sight between Dylan and Marie. And the sex scenes between them are just as descriptive as everything else.I can't tell you much more, or there wouldn't be anything left to read. Suffice to say, if you like shifters, if you like hot sex scenes, and if you like a HEA ending with no cliffhangers, you will probably like this story.I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

She dives into her world of dragon shifters with a flair that had me hooked. I would like to know more about her Dragon shifters & what that means in Tipton’s world. It is the first novella in the series, however, so I can’t wait to see what comes next.I enjoyed getting to know the main characters in this novella. They were unique & captivating individuals that I truly wanted to know more about. It did bug me a bit that he doesn’t tell her about his wife, but it doesn’t really affect the story at all. But her main characters were definitely loveable. I can’t wait to get to know the rest of the bikers better.Readers who have been following Tipton’s work will see a marked transformation in Tipton’s writing since the beginning of her career.Please note that I received a complimentary copy of this work in exchange for an honest review.
