Both plays evoke a very specific little niche of time and place; it's pretty amazing to me how much can be created with just a few characters and locations. Of the two, "Running In Place" is my favorite -- I love the journey that this play takes you on. It seems simple, but in the end I was left with such a range of emotions for the characters, their relationships, what they'd gone through. The sum felt much greater than its individual parts, and I mean that in the best way.
