2 of 2 people found the following review helpful. Excellent By Pamela Johnston Ward I must say that once again the author brought it. This is the continuation to her debut novel. This writer writes as if she has been writing for years, when in actuality, this is her 2nd novel. She did not disappoint. There is plenty of drama, betrayal, and twists. Some of the characters had me trying to reach into the book to choke them myself. I totally lost myself in this book. This is a must read, but please read part 1 first. This author is going to go far. Excellent job Latoya.
1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. Latoya has done it again! By Avid Reader OMG...where do I start! Darnell loves Latavia and is taking his vows seriously. There is nothing that he wouldn't do to protect her even after she cheated on him and is carrying another mans child. He puts all his trust in his best friend/brother Bernard who can't be trusted as far as he can throw him. Sharon is coo coo for coco pops for real with her bible scripture quoting tail. Not only is she envious of Latavia but she will do anything for the love of a man or woman to get to her ultimate goal. The six degrees of separation are crazy, especially when Devlin is added to the mix. And let's us not forget the BOMB that Latoya added between Nicole & Latavia. Even though this is just her second novel, Latoya is on point with her writing & keeping the reading in suspense up until the last sentence. I can't wait to see how everything plays out for these characters!
1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. I did not like him at all By LB Darnell, is going to have a nervous breakdown. He is boy was killed , his wife is carrying another mans baby. Latavia is something else, Darnell does not deserve her. Sharon bible toting, speaking verses and using them to her use and not the right way is crazy. I cant believe she killed Bernard but oh well s*** happends. I did not like him at all.. I disliked his grimmy ass in the first one. Latoya you created the frist character I could not stand.... Bernard, he was really awful in part 1 and super horrible in two.. couldnt stand him. Overall a great read!! The editing in this book was good as well!! you did it again Miss Latoya!! I am so proud of you!!!
