By K Redding I thoroughly enjoyed this book, and not just because I personally know Mr. Elmo Ziebach. This is an entertaining accounting of a great kept secret - that South Alabama is a great place to live if you like to hunt and fish. Now as I frequent some of the places that Mr. Ziebach mentions in his book, I can smile because I know someone else has had some great memories in these places also. The book also has a couple of chapters of hunting travels to other places in the United States. Elmo Ziebach's other book, "The Second Head of Chocolatta" while different, is good also.

By Robert Wright I had the pleasure of meeting Elmo and his son this past July, but just got around to reading this collection of stories, all of which I thoroughly enjoyed. One of the 'side effects' was the opportunity they presented for me to flip through the pages of my own 'history' and relive some of my own adventures....not many were as entertaining, and certainly none were as well written as those in this tome. Thoroughly enjoyed the read...
