About the Author Tracey Ann Ball is an award winning Children's Theater Director/Coach as well as the founder of South Orange County's Top Performing Arts School for Children, "The Center Stage Studio". Miss Ball's Performing Arts School has won several awards including "Best of Orange County", Access Broadway's "Best Debut School" two years running (2014 & 2015), Best Performing Arts School at Turn It Around Performing Arts, & Top Honors at the Musical Theater Competition of America. Tracey Ann Ball has written several children's plays including "My Big Fat Teen Life" which raised money for "Anit-Bullying" Fund of America in 2014. Tracey's love and passion for performing arts and children has been a driving force in the success of several of her graduating students including Amaya & Adriana Braganza (Broadways "Annie" & "The King & I" Revival 2015) and Noah Munck (iCarly).

By Emily Rubino Whether your child is a budding thespian, or if he just likes to play 'pretend', this little gem of a book will become dog-eared quickly. My little sister has already used a couple of Tracey's monologues... with great success!

It is full of monologues that are modest, challenging, yet age appropriate for young kids to older elementary school aged kids. I am a voice and musical theater director for youth performers and I use this book on a daily basis with my private students as they expand their acting range. They absolutely love the monologues provided in this book and the variety of different styles to choose from. My students continue to want more and more! I highly recommend this book to any teachers and families interested in introducing their children to the performing arts.
