About the Author
Will Shortz has been the crossword puzzle editor of The New York Times since 1993. He is also the puzzlemaster on NPR's Weekend Edition Sunday and is founder and director of the annual American Crossword Puzzle Tournament. He has edited countless books of crossword puzzles, Sudoku, KenKen, and all manner of brain-busters.

0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. Too Many Repeat Puzzles By Coffeelover Nice puzzles with good level of difficulty (not too easy). However, it has the same problem that all NY Times crossword puzzle books have. That is, the same puzzles over and over in different books. I generally have more than one of these books at a time, and all too often I find myself saying "Hey, I just did this puzzle the other day in the other book." Consequently, I don't feel I'm getting my money's worth. The Times should put these puzzles in storage for more than just a few months before putting them into a new edition. Try their puzzle compilation from the 1960s. I'm sure I did those puzzles when they were printed in the newspaper way back when, but there's a long enough time span for most of us to have forgotten them.
